Must have utility for people doing audio/video work

I use this frequently to inspect media files to learn how they are encoded, number of channels, bitrate, etc..

Others have reported issues with multiple files and history - for me this is not an issue because its not how I use the product.

I typically have a media file in the finder I am curious about - I hit Command-Spacebar which brings up spotlight search and type mediainfo and hit enter.
that launches media info.
next I drag the file from the finder onto the mediainfo icon in the doc - my files states are displayed instantly.

This has been good enough for my own needs so for me, I rate it 5 stars.
